How much does home automation cost in Auckland?
It depends on what you want to control and whether it's a new build or a retrofit. A starter setup covering lighting control and your alarm costs a lot less than a whole-home system with CCTV, multiroom audio and WiFi. Tell us what you'd like and we'll give you a clear, fixed quote.
Can you automate an existing home, or only new builds?
Both. We do new builds, renovations and retrofits into existing homes. For retrofits we use wireless smart switches and WiFi lighting where running new cable isn't practical.
What is Home Assistant?
Home Assistant is an open smart home platform that works with thousands of brands. It runs on a small computer in your home, so your system isn't locked to one manufacturer and keeps working if the internet drops.
Can I control my alarm, lights and heat pump from my phone?
Yes. Your alarm, lighting, heat pump, garage, cameras and more all go into one app on your phone, plus a touch panel on the wall if you want one.
Do you install home WiFi and networking?
Yes. We design and install whole-home WiFi, mesh networks, data cabling and comms cabinets. Good WiFi is the foundation of any smart home.
Do you install RTI control systems?
Yes. We design, program and install RTI control systems for home theatre, multiroom audio and whole-home AV, including RTI remotes and touch panels. RTI can run on its own or alongside KNX and Home Assistant.
